Agree completely with everyone else here. The praise is well deserved indeed. Considering the Hornet is still in early access the level of systems content and most of all the level of polish is very, very impressive.

Can't wait to see what the Hornet will become as more systems are brought on line. Absolutely outstanding job ED, thanks very much for all your efforts.

This has brought a lot of people out of the woodwork, both first timers and lapsed players … it's hilarious to look at a server like TTI and see how many slots have been reserved for F18 (and are being used!!). Great module, great plane.

We should have a really nice update this week that is focused on user feedback.

Good afternoon Mr Wagner:) thanks for awesome product! You stated that IFF and HARM are going to be priority (especially the IFF), but could you share with us what are the other things we might be getting (except bug fixes) first in coming months?

Is ED going to concentrate of missing basic plane subsystems (ATC LDG, ASPJ, Radar TWS, ASJP, IFF) first and only then concentrate on additional weapons systems as per https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3285514&postcount=13 or is it going to be mixed bag? What is most important to ED at this point and what are internal priorities related to the Hornet? ;)

ED,

I'll add my praise and thanks to this thread. I've been waiting for a sim of this aircraft and of this profound depth since I read 'The Sting of the Hornet' by David L. Bashow back in 1989. You have fulfilled my long held wish at last, and I must say that I have not been disappointed in anyway - thank you!

It is truly a fantastic module. For me, it was meant to be a "placeholder" until the Tomcat was released but it is such a joy to fly that I will spend most of my time in this.

And I was really surprised how much was included in the EA.

A true joy to fly and operate. I smile even thinking about loading it up again! Well done ED!! I’ve found my mount for years to come! Thank you for all your hard work.

Since I pretty much finished this year of university, I am so lucky to have free time to fly this module. It is truly the best plane released so far. And it will only get better and better as they fix the bugs and add the next features.

So massive thanks to the teams working on the F-18. Keep up the amazing work.

Thanks Wags. I am looking forward to the change logs and everything you guys are doing!

Congratulations on a good job ED!

Despite the bugs and a major work that is being done on 2.5.x we are actually able to fly beginning to end mission in F-18 Early Access!

Yesterday I flew 2 sorties. First CAP and took down 2x F-4 with a gun. Then landed, took another F-18 (Hot rearm not possible yet) and flew a Ground Strike with Mk-82 then carrier-landed :). Gave me a good mood for the next day :)))

Keep up the good work and we will keep you posted about the bugs we find ;)
