Still nothing on the differences between CBU-99 and CBU-100 (/Mk.20) there. They're always mentioned at the same time.

What does that tell you? It tells me that there is not enough difference between them to spend any time or energy exploring it further and that they are probably interchangeable in the sim.

cluster is not very good in general, except -97. avoid using it as it never kills anything.

If only the Hornet could carry the 97! lol those things are ridiculous. Your right though, no other cluster munition packs even close to the same punch.

From what I see there is a difference.

With the MK-20 used against trucks I get 3 hits out of 4 bombs dropped.

With the CBU-99 I get no hits at all.

They both currently land on the wrong continent when you use them. Otherwise they work great.

I been using them. The CCIP is only accurate under a narrow attack profile.

 

I've had better success with them when I start dropping a pattern early and keep dropping till late. lay a spread across the ccip
