In Su33 campaign mission 2, you are assigned to take off from a carreir at night, use Kh41 to destroy an enemy ship, and fight off 2 or 3 F-5 on the way.

 

Now the problem is: my Kh41 rarely hit its target, the accuracy increased a little bit if I told my wingman to fire his too. (the mssion was considered a "success" even if I didn't hit anything, tough). What are the optimum lauching parameters if Kh41?

In FC the sams got uber accurate so the reason one isn't going through is because it's being shot down by the target ship's SAMs from it's max distance. I would suggest just volleying them (you and your wingie firing) and move on. Anti-ship missions don't seem that fun when you're using ASMs anyways.

just have you and your wing man fire at the same time.

DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

Ensure that you first have a flight that deals with the SAM Threat. Once the SAM has been neutralized only then launch the 41's.

SAMs should have no probs killing it.

PLease remember that the Russian Navy relied not on ONE of those to kill a ship, but a swarm of 40-50.

A singleton, or even 4-5 of'em should probably be getting blasted out of the sky 100% against an AEGIS or similar equipped ship.

no, fireing two usually works...the ship's sams see the first one, concentrate fire on that one and ignore the other...

Exactly. What I'm trying to say is that LO attempts to reflect reality to some degree and so you shouldn't expect to see magical defense-penetrating weapons ... even though we do have such in the game right now, a bunch of things like SEAD and anti-ship work will *probably* be getting geared towards a more realistic (and thus in some cases more difficult to deal with) behavior.
