GVO Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Been having fun with the Hornet in VR but had to come back and fly the lovely Viggen. But after flying the Hornet, I really missed having the pilotbody in the cockpit when in VR. Is there any news about this? And again, thanks for a fantastic module. Can’t even wait for the Tomcat to be released :)
frosen Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 +1 on that! S-GERAT Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 It was planned and they show the pilot model but afaik they didn't say or show nothing more about it.. and this has been asked in the past but I didn't see any reply from the developers. I don't want to think that they are drawing the question but the same happens with the 21.

GVO Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 (edited) Any news on the pilot body? I understand that most are working hard with the Tomcat but will we see it sometime after the release of the F-14 or further down the road? Edit: just had a flight in the fantastic Viggen but are really missing the pilot in VR Edited February 3, 2019 by GVO
hideki2 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 ++ on that its a little bit of a deal breaker in VR.
westr Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 On the first magz tv video of the F-14 I think he says “you’ll notice there’s no pilot in the seat because I have It disabled” or something to that effect. So hopefully it’s there and it’s done just needs turning on. Harlikwin Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 +1 No pilot body in VR is a real immersion breaker for an otherwise beautiful aircraft. Yeah but you can then still use the switches in VR. Its an issue in the hornet. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. westr Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Yeah but you can then still use the switches in VR. Its an issue in the hornet. You can just enable or disable with the hornet whatever your preference. Which is perfect.
