BSR-SARGE Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Training Thanks To everyone last night for a good training time and get together. Sorry I had to jump out of the training right in the middle, but when I was able to get back everyone was doing great. Then after getting 2 kills my trackir and flight stick started to give me problems. Also, didn't notice, that somehow my mic was mutt. During the sortie time, I was on Blue, tried to take off in a Su27, and everytime I tried to take off I would get an engine fire and crash. I have flown the 27 many times before and never start a transition before 280 Kts. The plane just started to take off by itself at 230 Kts and scrape the tail. And I never use after-burner to take off when using the 27 or 29. Now, that happened 5 times in a row. That's when I discovered my X52 was not working up to par because the usb hub it's connected to malfunctioned. Anyway, had a great time, will sort all my tech problems out and be back in the Blue soon. Rugg and Tom you ran an excellent training session. Thank you. 3Sqn_SARGE

I find the 15 harder to fly now that i'v been flying the sukhoi. I also get worse FPS in it than in the shkhoi for some reason... (more dials maybe?...)
