They look extremely unnatural and distracting in VR. Maybe add some scratches instead.

yeah raytraced reflection in cocpit cannopy glass would be sweet but static reflections with questionable quality not so much tho

Problem with those reflections lies in basics of human eye

in game everything you look is sharp

so whne you look far away you still can see anything in between sharp

whne human eye adjustign to look thing far away things very close to eye become blury and some time completly invisible

thats thing you cant replicate in game i would turn down reflections in cocpit or make them blury by default

I assume this is better with the new cockpits?

 

They look fantastic now (Spitfire needs some love, though)

 

The only thing I'd ask the devs to consider is increasing the resolution of the textures used on the canopy. Mostly it's fine but particularly when the sun hits them the glare effect looks just a bit too pixelated; mainly because the player's virtual head is so close to the canopy.

Other than that, they're great - I hope other aircraft/helicopters get similar treatment.

yeah i agree that upgraded lightings and reflection in ww2 cocpits are great i was refering to other planes
