+1 - I always forget when doing quick missions in the ME and it looks silly having a Blue Angels plane doing combat stuff, would prefer it if the default was one of the military skins.

+1 It would be nice to be able to set the default skin so it stays set.

As a workaround, it is possible to open those quick missions in the ME. Edit the skin to your liking, save, and then fly to your heart's content.

We shouldn't have to go through all that to change it, but it is a stopgap until (if) they add options to change default skins.

As the title says.

Could be nice to have a military skin and not Blue angels as the default one.

Just try renaming the blue angel's skin. Put "zzz" in front of it. That should list it last.
