hi all,

according to the patch'notes update 6

Radar too easily losing contacts - fixed.

I'd just like to point out that this has not yet been fixed, additionaly even at close distance at a range of 10-15 NM when I lock a target in STT it would automatically change for another another target even which is at different azimuth( +/- 40 degrees off my nose ) despite the radar sweep is in STT and should be focused/concentrated on the first initial locked target.

Hope this is going to be fixed as it is very annoying to engage a target even at close distance, locked in STT and then the radar would pickup another target which could even be friendly.

It kills the A2A immersion so much that as of a result A2A aat its current stage is completely useless.

We've been training 4v4 against a bunch of other planes last night and our k/d was about 5:1, so I don't know what you're doing wrong, but you're doing it wrong. The radar switches targets yes, sometimes the hud freezes or shows hot targets as cold and vice versa. When you're aware of all those issues due to the radar being still mostly WIP, you consistently get BVR kills which never happened before the latest update.

The "WIP" shield doesn't apply to something that supposedly has been "Fixed"...I don't really care if they would announce that it actually had NOT been fixed (retraction), but I haven't seen this....would like clarification here

Apart from the target switching issue radar keeps the lock pretty well now IMO.

It's definately better. Lost lock to a Hawkeye where I just wondered why on my first check, but then on the other hoof I could keep a lock on a 21bis that tried to evade my Sparrows below horizon which was totally impossible before the update.

"Radar too easily losing contacts - fixed." - read: We did something about that issue and think we got it now. This is a beta test after all and even things fixed might not be nailed spot on and may need further work.

I don't want to step on anyone's toes but I wonder how much testing if any is done before the announcement "fixed" is plastered on the forum.
