Spathiphyllum Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 I am wondering if the MK82 is correctly positioned to the center pylon. It looks really weird to me, because when the bomb is attached, it looks like the pylon's lower edge has an arc, kind of taking the shape of the bomb. But when the bomb is dropped, the pylon's lower edge is straight. Can't seem to get it.
QuiGon Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Seems like the bomb is clipping into the pylon. That's a bug. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Spathiphyllum Posted July 30, 2018 Author Posted July 30, 2018 (edited) Seems like the bomb is clipping into the pylon. That's a bug. Exactly. Edited July 30, 2018 by Spathiphyllum
twistking Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 from the screenshots it looks, as if the same bug persists for the under-wing-pylons. i can't remember having seen this bug, so it must be relatively new. there are also some other problems on different aircraft with misalighned ordnance that showed up with the 2.5.1 or something... *this should be moved to the bug section My improved* wishlist after a decade with DCS *now with 17% more wishes compared to the original
Spathiphyllum Posted August 6, 2018 Author Posted August 6, 2018 Came across the exact same issue on the Mirage too, which I bought yesterday, all the MK82 bombs are like that. And I found that it was already reported in May this year - three months ago - yet no one bothered to fix it, despite being quite a an obvious and significant bug.

As that is 3rd Party, they will need to address it. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Spathiphyllum Posted August 7, 2018 Author Posted August 7, 2018 Third party or not, it isn't limited to that 3rd Party - it's more of an universal issue as the F-5 suffers from it too. Isn't it something that ED needs to look into?
ED Team NineLine Posted August 7, 2018 ED Team Posted August 7, 2018 Its adjusted per individual module, so no. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Spathiphyllum Posted August 7, 2018 Author Posted August 7, 2018 Its adjusted per individual module, so no. Now I see. Thanks!
Spathiphyllum Posted August 15, 2018 Author Posted August 15, 2018 Looks like the misaligned bombs and/or pylons are still not fixed...
Spathiphyllum Posted August 29, 2018 Author Posted August 29, 2018 ...aaand - the pylon issue is still not fixed.
ED Team NineLine Posted August 29, 2018 ED Team Posted August 29, 2018 It's a low priority fix, it will get done, but it may not be right away. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
nessuno0505 Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 (edited) I agree, it's just a visual issue. But please correct inverted trim bug! (and rwr behaviour with locked radars, but the trim is the super-high priority!) Edited August 30, 2018 by nessuno0505
ED Team NineLine Posted August 30, 2018 ED Team Posted August 30, 2018 Trim issue was reported and fixed internally already. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Spathiphyllum Posted August 30, 2018 Author Posted August 30, 2018 (edited) That's a weird way of doing things. We are talking about a released payware product, not even EA anymore. There's no such thing as "visual issue only" since a bug is a bug. For you, maybe it's "only" but for others it might be more important. What if I solely buy a module to take screenshots? When you purchase a car (or whatever), do you accept if it's scratched and then the agent tells you it's a visual issue only? This should also be a high priority thing and needs fixing asap. I reported it over a month ago, and found that others reported it even earlier. Please fix it. Edited August 30, 2018 by Spathiphyllum

It's been reported it will get fixed. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
