Yes I did increase the sensitivity a while back, I am working on the ability for the user to adjust the sensitivity in the GUI. In the intern I will dial it back and send you a personal firmware update until I get the GUI integrated.

Anyone else experiencing Pointctrl troubles since last Windows 10 update?

 

My Pointctrl calibration suddenly seems way off. When in the DCS main menu I only see the cursor move slightly along the left upper menu border, as if it's not active in my DCS screen. I tried to re-calibrate while in the cockpit by holding down the right HMS button, but the settings menu cursor won't appear (the circular moving cursor). I tried flashing the firmware to an older version, just in case it's IR interference related, but no change.

 

Anyone have any idea what could be going on here?

 

 

No idea if it is Windows related, but as I didn't "change" anything else, except for updating Windows, I thought that might be the cause. But in that case, more people here should have troubles..

 

EDIT:

Forgot to mention. Unfortunately I can't use the GUI to calibrate as my monitor resolution is to low and the GUI doesn't have a scroll bar

I have a very similar problem. While in the game the cursors seem to be much higher vertically than expected. Tried to recalibrate but that does not work as the cursors seemed to be glued to the upper edge of VR window. Factory reset does not help. When I turn off VR the cursors behave normal in the middle of the screen. I am a a complete loss. Also updated Windows yesterday... something must have broken it.

 

(using a HP Reverb) - but it seems not to be WMR exclusive as sirrah has a Rift according to his signature...

Windows update breaking Reverb with PointCTRL.

Still working the issue, but now with "Profesional" help, thanks Subsonic, your the man. Los is letting me borrow his Reverb, so hopefully we will have this sorted by the end of the weekend.

 

As a heads up, this will probably delay this groups production and invoices a few days.

 

Thanks for understanding, I am surprised it took a year for Windows to break something.
