No problem you are welcome....as a side note the single FARP should not require FARP vehicles for reaming but the large 4 slot will. Cheers.

As the Farps where near an existing airbase, I didnt put the vehicles at first, but then found that my helos couldnt refuel, so I ended up adding the vehicles after all :)

Dear @Suntsag,

It seems that today's update of the Persian Gulf broke something on this Mod, as it no longer has the brown textures, but rather look like this:

CZVa5Mq.jpg

Also, on the dcs.log I get this error:

2019-04-10 19:22:59.707 ERROR wInfo: can't open Objects[DESERT4] table
2019-04-10 19:22:59.709 ERROR GRAPHICSVISTA: Can't open model DESERT4.

I'm using version 3 of the Mod, installed on my Saved Games folder at /dcs.openbeta/mods/tech/

Would you please give it a look to see if it can be fixed?

Thanks a lot and best regards,

Eduardo.

Hi there, ex81.

Have you dowloaded (from the first page of this same topic) the last version (v.3) and the texture fix of this mod?

Are you using that DGSME utility or not? If so, I am unfortunately not expert of it, so I can't help you on this case. Sorry.

But if not, could we assume that you have copied that FARP folder in the "C:/Users (in German)/(your name)/Saved Games (in German)/DCS World (or Open Beta)/mods/tech" folder?

And if you haven't, have you create that "tech" folder manually?

The texture fix should be copied just as it is straight in the "DESERT_FARP/Texture" folder.

With best regards.

Yes, I now can place the desert farp in my missions. One thing I realized, is that even in the caucasus map the heli farps are now desert farps.

I believe if I remove the textures fix from the saved games folder those originals will be back.

Is that right ?????

This is a Mod that alters the standard DCS Farps, so you can use either the standard or the moded Farp, but not both at the same time.

You really should look into using a Mod Manager, that makes it easier to enable/disable Mods as needed.

..

Here is my desert FARP mod which can be downloaded here:

...

Version 3 saved games folder compatible

...

"TEXTURE FIX" 10/04/19

Download and place the zip file in the mods "TEXTURE FOLDER". Let it over right the current version. Do not unzip the zip file and this will fix the current issue. Cheers.

Dear Suntsag,

I realize that this is an old Mod, but I've been using it since a long time and it was working perfectly well in the current DCS OpenBeta.

However now, on the Syrian Map, the helicopters sink into the FARP like this:

ij17Uov.jpg

It seems to be a fault only on the Syria Map, for example on the Persian Gulf Map it still works perfectly well:

BoKwxdS.jpg

If you have the time, can you please take a look at it? .. most likely it's a bug of the new Map, but even so it is worth a look.

Thanks a lot,

Eduardo

@SUNTSAG

Is this mod broken now? I can't get it to work anymore.

I have all of the updates and texture files, but everything is green.

I tried to download it again, but the links above are broken.

Thanks in advance. Ray

....nevermind... I've build my own FARP-Template ^^

Why don't you upload your current version of your FARP template for others?

@Rudel_chw the version you uploaded on Oct.9th, 2022, the 4-slot-farp is still the ugly green version

Hi, just checked and you are right:

I never noticed it before because I usually employ just the single slot one on my missions, for added flexibility on its placement, like this:
