Does not confirm it, also that phrase has been edited if you check the description (possible mistake).

 

I reiterate the word in the title; 'confirmed' seeing as its seen for the first time on the DCS platform.

Known for a long time that it was planned. There is a thread about it in the Chit-Chat section. WIP build is probably nothing more than a 3D model.

I'll bet not :). I'll bet that a LOT of programming functionality in the 18 is very portable and will port right over to the 16 :). Also... They're not going full bore ahead with the 18 flight model right now either. That would have stopped a while ago in favor of "hot fixes" if you will. I'll bet they've been working on the 16 flight model for a while.
