Lixma 06 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 It used to look like this (similar to the excellent new Mustang update) ....but now there's these awful baked-on 'reflections' :(
philstyle Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 yeah... it's been a mess for a while (since July), graphically speaking. Almost no response from the seller too... On YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/philstylenz Storm of War WW2 server website: https://stormofwar.net/

Wrench Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 @philstyle Note that you don't need to replace the textures in the zip file, just copy the new .dds files to the same directory. Carrier Script.
Captain Orso Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 That will be enough to fail the IC. When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs. finch Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 That will be enough to fail the IC. and of course it doesn't work if not inside the zip
Captain Orso Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 No, that is not true. DCS is clever enough to realize that an identical file name outside an archive as one inside the archive, both being in the same folder, that the stand-alone file is a mod and its use has priority. Wrench Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 I have a cockpit mod for the spit installed in this manner, and pass IC. Could be an IC error on DCS' side if this isn't supported, though. Carrier Script.
Zed4747 Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 I hope they put it back, the new cockpit glass is not good, is there a dload for the more realistic or older version?
Buzzles Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 What's interesting is the recent removal of the baked reflections in the P-51, so hopefully they'll go from the Spit too. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
