Ron Attwood Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 The latest update for the CEII has improved the engine startup sounds for sure, but it has introduced an irritating sound of a man sawing wood. Furthermore it just keeps on. There seems to be no correlation to what the aircraft is doing. Anyone else got this? Maybe it's just in my head.
urmomiscallinme Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 If you're referring to a looping sound at full power, I have heard it too. It's rather annoying when it should just be a constant rpm sound. Goblin Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Yeah, there is a soundloop at the entire RPM spectrum. I have never flown the CEII, but several other Lycoming powered aircraft, with or without constant speed props. The engine and propeller sond should be more sedate, and constant. Almost boring...
YoYo Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 I noticed the same sound issue, please fix it. rrohde Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 Better, yes, but to me it seems as if the loop is still a little too short and thus sounds a tad too repetitive in my opinion.
