RED Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Every pilot that does not have finger lifts/detents on her/his throttle can adjust the throttle curve to use the full axis travel. What you have to do: Set the axis as a slider. Set the Y Saturation to ~90%. With these settings you "skip" the part between OFF and IDLE that you cannot use anyway without fingerlifts or a detent. I got positiv feedback for the TM Warthog and TWCS, you might post your experience if you have different throttles. Most pilots will probably not see this thread or change axis settings and can not use their full axis travel until ED changes the standard setting. Have fun using your new precision for carrier landings and formation flying!
Darcwaynard Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Can confirm working nicely with X-55. This feels better thanks! grunf Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Works fine with CH Pro throttle, thanks!

Phil C6 Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 (edited) Hi guys, is it normal I can't get idle on my Hotas Cougar? (Trottle Axis is calibrated correctly and in DCS setting axis go full and minimum) In the F18 in flight I can't get Idle (by ex full AB to Idle), the minimum i can't get is 69% and not the (idle) 65% check the screenshot (rpm and the hotas position (rctl+enter)) Please let me know if it's normal or same for you Best regards Edited April 30, 2019 by Phil C6

Without weight-on-wheels the throttle's idle position is physically restricted. Compressor (N2) 1. The maximum rpm is 102%. 2. Ground idle is: F404-GE-400 F404-GE-402 61 to 72% 63 to 70% 3. Flight idle is 68 to 73%. 4. Maximum fluctuation at stabilized power is ±1%. RED Posted March 26, 2020 Author Posted March 26, 2020 Does this also cover going into AB?ED changed the logic at some point, making the changes obsolete. But the changes will not affect AB. You may want to test out what works best for you.
