Teriander Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 How can I set the Stennis to not use radio? I'm creating a custom mission with my own audio for takeoffs, etc. And I would like to silence Stennis' default chatter. Any suggestions?
Repth Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 You will need to use the F10 radio option trigger and then attach the audio file you want it to play. If you use any of the default radio options you will get standard audio unless you replace the sound files. I'm not technically inclined enough to tell you how to do that without breaking the sim though.
Teriander Posted January 28, 2019 Author Posted January 28, 2019 But I'm actually looking for a way to tell the Stennis to be quiet. I have a mission that requires radio silence and with the Stennis yapping, it breaks that immersion. I know how to set options on a Group to use radio silence, but it doesn't seem like its possible on the Stennis. is that accurate?
Sedlo Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 What if you set the ships frequency to something other than what your player has tuned? Nealius Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 What if you set the ships frequency to something other than what your player has tuned? That will silence the audio, but the comms menu will still spontaneously appear as soon as the player starts taxiing or traps.
