not bad at all, sir

Could you elaborate a bit why you chose to put the joy base at an angle, and then building some kind of "lever" to attach the joy?

Hi Tundra,

Background was to bring the joystick

into a perfect handling and relaxed position.

The first attempt was a simple extension

with the base at a slight angle.

A few day later a friend take seat

(he's a helicopter pilot on an oil rig)

and it has been determined that the stick's

position was too far forward.

That's why i build the "lever".

At the moment I am thinking about rebuilding

and padding the seat base of the chair

...including the corresponding "cut out" for the flightstick.

His statement was:

The perfect position of the stick is achieved when

the forearm lies relaxed on the thigh and the stick

can be reached with your thumb and forefinger

without kinking your wrist.

You have to bring into line with the stick deflection.

Yes...CBoB ;)

I have to stay below 150kg.

Otherwise the wheels or the gas dumper could break.
