I fly VR and I found that the stick is way forward and obstruct totally the lower display! Also, if you push forward it looks like it hits the upper frame of the display.

Is this how it is supposed to be?

Noticed same things. But not seeing the frontal display is like idiot designer who wanted to add such for specs, regardless it can't be read.

And that stick hitting screen must be way to release frustration among pilots.

Have you trimmed the aircraft? Trimming to 0 should have your stick relatively clear of the display, or at least not smashing into the display. That said I'm not using VR and it may well be just a bug with VR.

In the Aerosoft version, you can remove the stick by hitting the button below the contrast switch. In DCS F/A-18C you can remove it by hitting backspace. It would be nice if they could do something similar in the F-14.

not sure if that would be a good solution. The gun, sidewinder switch is on the stick and it is good to see what we have selected.

I am really suprised though that the stick is in that position. For sure they used laser scanner to scan the cockpit, but the position in VR is placed manually, and it could be the reason why we see the stick in this "akward" position...

You can see what you have selected on the HUD when in A/A mode, and when you're not in A/A mode it doesn't really matter... plus it takes a split second to switch, and really if you're in that kind of situation where that specific split second counts, you've probably got bigger issues to worry about.

just lean like a real F14 pilot

The default had position is already 30-40cm to much forward in VR. You almost sit top of the stick.

The stick itself is about like almost inside the front screen, to see it, you need to pull G's or start quick roll.

please add the remove stick option. it might be realistic but we are not really in a cockpit and we have limited view options despite the trackir

Yes, please. It is much easier to lean around and look in real life. Plus real binocular vision makes it easier to see around objects in those sorts of scenarios.

It does look way to forward in VR. The stick is almost hitting the display's glass.

+1 for remove stick button too!

Agree, have to do an odd maneuver to get to look at the TDI (I think thats its name). Its one of those things it looks nice, but since im not really there it is just in the way.

Pilot Position in VR is too far forward and makes it nearly impossible to access Oxygen switch etc.

This appears to be how the stick should look. I believe it's modelled correctly.

However please note that cockpit has better markings for the switches than we have in game.
