av8r13 Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 for some reason, my carriers leave little to no wake behind the boat. i have seen many videos where there is at least a 3/4 mile wake. is there a setting that effects this?
Northstar98 Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 IMO the wakes need redoing, they're quite old, they don't look very natural (certainly not like the real thing) and could really do with a facelift. JumpinK Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 +1 carrier wake really needs to be corrected. the old wake was waaay too looooong and the new wake is barely visible. And in VR it's almost invisible and it looks like the boat isn't moving at all. However, I think they will correct this issue when the new nimitz-class carrier arrives. Strikeeagle345 Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 The wake seems to have been reduced a some months ago, they were fine. Now they are almost non existent. av8r13 Posted April 5, 2019 Author Posted April 5, 2019 thanks, was wondering if i was doing something wrong. i hope that ED updates the carrier wake, as it makes lining up much easier. as stated above, there is basically no wake anymore

And in VR it's almost invisible and it looks like the boat isn't moving at all. If you look, parts of the wake are static (pretty much the entirety of the bow wake), it doesn't flow (I guess that's the right word to describe it) properly, and it's only the back that actually flows out the back Modules I own: F-14A/B, F-4E, Mi-24P, AJS 37, AV-8B N/A, F-5E-3, MiG-21bis, F-16CM, F/A-18C, Supercarrier, Mi-8MTV2, UH-1H, Mirage 2000C, FC3, MiG-15bis, Ka-50, A-10C (+ A-10C II), P-47D, P-51D, C-101, Yak-52, WWII Assets, CA, NS430, Hawk.
