I plan to use my WH grip when flying the A-10 and the CM2 for the Hornet and Tomcat (at least until the Tomcat grip comes out). mazex Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 (edited) Well - not that it might give you more comfort but I ordered a WarBRD base, CM2 and T-50 Throttle on the 20:th of April, got the order confirmation email and then silence ;) Just sent them an email asking if all is fine over there :) At the other hand, ordered some VKB T-rudder mk IV pedals from the VKB EU shop the day after and they managed to change my country to DE (germany) instead of SE (Sweden). So got a confirmation from DHL that my package from VKB has left the Netherlands for Lund - Nuremberg (Germany) instead of Lund - Sweden... So at least I have some pedals out there on the move (or someone in Nuremburg is happy). I don't know whats best but it's sure an exiting shopping experience dealing with these "boutique" brands :) They claim that they are worth it though... Time will tell if it's also resilient to the tough virtual combats. The switches and buttons are very 'clicky' and the n-way switches are very precise. The gas throttles are sturdy and not wobbling in any way and the default friction feels just right. The differences between the previous throttle, Saitek X55, and the T50 are like night and day. Definitely a good choice. May give in to temptation though before too much longer. From what I see they basically took the money for pre-orders to finance current production, leaving people who pre-ordered waiting. They told me they going to ship CM2 grip I've paid for on March 17th, tomorrow, May 10th. They have really :pain: business practices.

I dragged my tired backside out of bed this morning at sparrow's fart, thumping headache and sat there mashing the F5 key - but nothing. It was only after a few minutes that I realised I had got up for 6am, when we are now on BST = GMT +1, so should have been up at 5am. I was soooo disappointed and angry with myself - but just before heading out, at 08:10, I decided to have a quick look - and there they were, all in stock! So I'm really chuffed. I also asked via vpc-support to get some clarification^^ I've asked on their forum, if it's possible to upgrade from the old to the new, for those who ordered after todays restock. Don't think it's really fair that they didn't mention we were getting the older one on the order page, they simply have the reduced price. I think it should be made very clear that there are two versions and which one is being ordered - not somewhere else, on a forum - especially as most people will be getting up and mashing F5 and not have time to go looking around for last minute changes to products. Give the customer the choice. OK - I've asked if I can upgrade to the "Mk.2" - see what the response is.
