My 2 pennies...

It is totally unrealistic to fly 15 different planes in one single day, shooting down 25 enemy planes, 50 tanks, eject once or twice and go home for dinner.

No one has done this before in reality.

DCS is what it is and it suits me.

If someone wants to fly SP in “easy” mode, it has no bearing on me...so if they want to wish for an easier way of doing things, it doesn’t make a dark cloud over my head.

Multiplayer is a different animal though...giving the option of doing things easy = unfair advantage, which does cause storm clouds in my humble little world of opinion.

PS: I just want a Saturn V/Apollo rocket, with AIM-Xs and AMRAAMs in internal bays (you know...for stealth).

When I first bought the Mustang, I enjoyed sitting in the cockpit following the procedure to get it started, but now I just cant be bothered, I just use the start cheat. When I play SP missions I want to blow stuff up in the time I have playing, so I use unlimited fuel and unlimited ammo.

When I play multi player I use up my ordinance then land, re-fuel and re-arm.

So am I an arcade gamer or a "hardcore" simmer ? I really don't care as long as I am enjoying myself.
