Southern America!

I am not sure if this was requested here before, but some part of Southern American continent would be just amazing. Mountains, jungle...it would be just beautiful. That would be the instabuy for me :thumbup:

With that said I can imagine a heckload of work that would be needed to put into this since this would put a huge amount of work just to create a decently looking jungle vegetation on developers. Yeah but if cold war fans would like to have Vietnam map I think it is safe to write this falls into a similar category :-)

The upcoming Falklands map should include part of South America but I'm not sure if that's what you are looking for.

I know that we can wish to our hearts content, but you have to be realistic: there are plenty locations that would be more popular (i.e. more people would be likely to buy it) than South America, for example:

 

The Korean Peninsula

Vietnam & Laos

North Africa

Germany & East Europe

 

In fact, we should be grateful that we will get the Malvinas/Falklands Map .. it was most unexpected :)

I agree, its a pipe dream. Unless a south american decides to become a 3rd party producer and jump´s through al the hoops we will never see this kind of development. And even with that I am not sure if ED has to approve the project also.

 

Regarding Falklands (Malvinas), I believe it is pretty popular, it has never been done well before, its a classic David and Goliath thing, and it is a very interesting theater to explore.

Okey, okey. the entire idea was to bring a map in an environment that people can use small and medium planes without shine or fear, such as supertucano, pucara, pampa, amx,A37 (u can add a lot of small runways for them) and medium attack/fighters of 3 and 4 gen. And also, it has a power impact in sales of the map (is obvious we need to think about the map/sells itself) because u can attract some people (mostly of south America) , most of them that don’t belong to the DCS world but will do everything to represent his country in the map.

the region has 4 countries(its nothing personal about the place, i just need to find a triple or multiple frontier so u can attract more people), is climate and relieve are extreme, and the antiaircraft of the countries ar not the best, so it can be funny and encouraging for use small aircraft against airfields, ships, ports, light and medium tanks, etc.

actualized, with more countries. this aircraft still not added to DCS world, but there are some project to add it (M F1 on the works, Kfrir by cubanace)

I think that if someone was willing to make a South America map this should be the one, the most useful and varied area.
