Hi All,

I'm struggling with the A-10 and my WARBrd base (TM stick). Whenever I load up a flight in the A-10, my stick input is reduced to pretty much nothing. If anything, the stick input seems to be acting as trim input.

I've checked the controller assignments and everything looks ok, is anyone else having these issues?

Cheers

Some additional things that might be worth checking:

- check the game's options and make sure Force Feedback is disabled

- make sure no other controllers are assigned to the pitch and roll axis

- check the Axis Tune panel and make sure saturation is at 100% and everything else is set up to your personal preferences

If all else fails, I'd try to rename Saved Games\DCS, start DCS again, make only the most necessary setup changes, and try again (Saved Games\DCS will be automatically re-created as soon as you launch DCS; you can later delete this one and rename the backup again so you get all your original settings back).

DCS repair might also be worth a shot.

Does it work properly in other games or planes, or is just specifically the A-10 that is misbehaving?

Try this. In Windows Game Controllers setting, select your stick and click Reset to Default. Then run VPC software suite, recalibrate the axes.

Sorry to reopen this thread, but ot seems I'm having similar issues.

Stick input results in the virtual stick moving extremely slow (could indeed be seen as trim movement speed).

Throttle is still moving at normal speeds

Now for the curious part... It's only happening sporadically when starting a mission. When I then quit and select fly again everything's back to normal.

Double checked my controls and cleared any unnecessary axis binds, bit it still happens so now and then.

Edit:

Found a work around (not a solution). Stick response returns to normal after I give some trim input.
