DarkStar79 Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Im not sure if this is a bug or not. When i use JDAM in PP mode I hit all the targets every time. But when i try and hit the same targets in TOO mode it hits way off. Im using precise coordinates also. So not sure if its a bug or if im doing something wrong.. IS TOO mode working for you guys when using precise coordinates?
Kayos Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 TOO mode is used with waypoints right now. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Tom Kazansky Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 TOO works perfectly with waypoints. Just make sure the elevation of WP is set to the ground.
DarkStar79 Posted June 9, 2019 Author Posted June 9, 2019 TOO mode is used with waypoints right now. I know its based on the waypoints. Im using precise waypoints on the HSI and also precise coordinates on the F10 map. But cant get it to hit. I know how the JDAM works, so its just very strange! Are you using precise coordinates on the F10 map and transfers that to the HSI when inputting coordinates?
dorianR666 Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 are you sure the elevation is 0 m above ground? mission editor's waypoints have minimum of 30 m above ground, then it sometimes doesnt hit. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX 580

Terry T. Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Are you setting the elevation in the ME or the jet? VMFA-122 Crusaders [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Discord
DarkStar79 Posted June 9, 2019 Author Posted June 9, 2019 Are you setting the elevation in the ME or the jet? In the jet. I pick a point from the F10 map and look at the coordinates and the elevation..
Terry T. Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Try doing everything is the Mission Editor and see if that works for you. Drop a waypoint on the target and ensure the elevation is correct. All you should do in the jet after setting up your JDAM is to select the waypoint as a WPDSG. Otherwise what you're doing is PP mode. VMFA-122 Crusaders [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Discord

I thought the precise meant that you could use the new precise coordinates implimented. The precise coordinates only work for the JDAM PP mode. So is the precise wp option in the HSI for the decimal coordinates or is it a bug that you cant use the new precise coordinates there?
Svend_Dellepude Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 You can click the object, if its visible to you, and get the elevation from the infobox. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD.
