I followed the startup acording to tricker's tutorial video. Also it seems the radar altimeter is not indicating. has there been a new subsystem been added that I must turn on during startup? Deano87 Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 I didn't watch the video but did you set the INS to either ground or CV align and then set it to NAV once complete? Video is shown as that is his reference on how he started the aircraft, not that the problem was in the video. Now waiting for 0.5OK isn't good enough, one must also ensure the coordinates at displayed above the alignment quality, on the HSI. Yeah that’s a good point. I wait until the moving map pops up with the correct lat/long before going to Nav. theinmigrant Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 I waited until alignment was done, so It can't be due to that:( You didnt wait long enough. With current build you have to wait a couple of minutes until the map comes on.
Eldur Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Yeah that’s a good point. I wait until the moving map pops up with the correct lat/long before going to Nav. I even switch the MM off beforehoof as it renders the AMPCD completely useless. Never had problems with the alignment

It didn’t cause this issue when this video was made That seems to fix the issue. I can switch to IFA when airborne and the velocity vector will continue to work.
