112th_Rossi Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 No track supplied but something I noticed last night and is simple to replicate. Selecting a waypoint then choosing WPDSG on the HSI does not result in a target diamond in the HUD.

112th_Rossi Posted August 1, 2019 Author Posted August 1, 2019 Hi I would need to see a track replay showing this behaviour, I was not able to reproduce. I don't have a track at the moment. From memory my situation was: 1. On a multiplayer server (not sure if this makes a difference) 2. Loaded with 2 external fuel tanks, 4 GBU 38s. LITENING pod 3. LITENING pod was on and cooled down. 4. FLIR was active on right MFD 5. HSI on left MFD, 6. Selected a waypoint in HSI and pressed WPDSG 7. No diamond appeared in the hud. 8. Started from Ramp, cold
escaner Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Probably related to this: I have noticed that once you designate a target on the Litening, you cannot activate WPDSG until after pressing Undesignate to remove the Litening target. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

I had a similar experience yesterday. The system kinda bugs out if you designate targets in multiple ways, i.e. with the TGP and then WPDSG. Don't know if it's the same IRL (probably not). AFAIK i didn't designate using the TGP, although I did slew it around.
bkthunder Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 The same just happened to me, except I didn't even turn on the TGP. It was enough to change the SEQUENCE 1, 2, 3, a few times and it stopped working... vctpil Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 I have the same issue with the AUTO bomb mode (No TGP use). Once the flight plan selected and displayed on the HSI, I select the waypoint where is located the target then select WPDSG, but that did not work. At this moment, the square around WYPT disappear.
