VF-103 skin texture bug

after the latest update, the VF-103 last raid texture goes wrong.

 

see it: black wings.

 

P.S. I noticed just VF-103 skin having bug so far. Anyone has temporary solution(such as alternative skin download)?

 

edit: Christmas fictional skin has the same bug.

update: all F-14B skins have a bug: blackwing. Check the back wing plz.

Only one skin had this for me. But they had some weird wing colors (and the bottom was black for any skin)

Can confirm. All stock liveries are messed up. Custom liveries by 3rd parties are fine. I guess instead of fixing visual issues we are introducing even more these days?

We've traced this issue to a corrupt wing texture. It is unclear as to cause why this texture is corrupt.

This could've happened when it was transferred to ED's SVN or while a build was prepared.

 

We'll request a hotfix to be distributed.

 

We will post a hotfix of our own as well.

Ok, it seems like it is related to the latest LOD changes to objects. From afar the textures render in, only the up close HD ones are messed up. I hope this gets hotfixed and we don't have to wait another 2+ weeks...

We can't say, it depends on whether ED is going to push a hotfix before the next update - we requested it and it depends if it fits in the schedule, since it is not a game breaking bug (as in crashing it for example). Worst case scenario is unfortunately until the next patch.
