RAF_JAGUAR Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Sorry for the noob question but i am sadly going to have to move DCS from its home on my 256gb SSD to a secondary hard drive. It simply has taken up to much space. I am guessing i cant simply move the ED folder to its new home so was wondering whats the best way to do it is. I have a good internet connection so can re-download if needed but i just wondered if there was an easier way. Thank you. How much longer, Ops? The engine’s overheating and so am I. Griefhard Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Yes you can. Just move the whole folder to another drive and/or subfolder and update your shortcuts. Works perfectly.

But you would have to manually create new short cuts to the new location. Drac Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Will all of my controls be saved if I uninstall and reinstall to my new ssd? I recently moved DCS from a HDD to a SSD. Did a copy and paste and redirected my shortcut. I did not loose any control settings.
