Namenlos Ein
Looks more like a wheeled BTR-60, to be honest. Actually it was a T-72. http://youtube.com/watch?v=VH4cfob8M2Q Syrian army T-72 main battle tank that was destroyed during clashes between rebels and Syrian government forces, at the northern town of Ariha, in Idlib province, Syria, Monday, June 4, 2012. VAOZoky
It doesn't look like t72 to me. It has tall siluethe and no huge tank gun. AlphaOneSix
It was a T-72. EDIT: Another tell tale sign is that when hit, the driver accelerates and you can see the engine smoke coming out of the left rear of the engine deck. Demokrator
And looking at that pictures that t72 is faceing wrong way compared to vehicle movement in video Oh, not again:doh:. It was a T-72U. To Namenloes, actually it's not a barrel it's shadow from skirting. Barrel facing 1 o'clock position on this pic and apparently you can't see it. Exploded T-72 speeded away from ambush with gun pointed to six o'clock, and was destroyed in 2nd ambush. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=35.81561,36.611115&spn=0.001781,0.002411&t=k&z=19 Edited July 19, 2012 by Namenlos Ein
