mvsgas Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Man this thing is big 1 To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

mvsgas Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Man I went there early, before the gates open so I can take what ever photos I wanted, got me a good shaded spot... Then the wife decides, Hey I think I will go now come meet me here. I go there and is o the worst spot, in between a food and a beer truck, can barely see the aircraft and I am getting beat up by the sun, considering the general made us all wear uniform. Anyway, 10 minutes later , my 5 year old son does not want to be there no more.. being 90 degrees and all. So Today again, I miss the fricking show. Yeah! :( To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. RvETito Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) FedEx MD-11 cargo has crashed today at landing at Narita Airport near Tokyo. No survivers. . Seems like a classic case of PIO. Same problem here for an Iranian Su-24- http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=1b2_1237278935 In this case it's the ejection system that makes the difference between life and death. Geier Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 wow, check aroud 1:47! 1:14 shows what Gsh-23-2 costs in real life. Video camera grabbed only 0.5 sec of round. The pilot says they used the gun only at very emegrancy cases. In this very situation they helped our marines who were blocked near Grozny. The round was without a cutoff, all 250 shells were fired in a moment!
Boberro Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 :O ROFL Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
mvsgas Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 (edited) I think the Harrier GR7 and GR9 are some of the coolest looking aircraft Guys check this video, se the little inverted arrows dancing in the HUD? I wander what they mean? I think is the terrain following radar or something warning the pilot of possible obstructions. Does anyone know? http://www.patricksaviation.com/videos/boost/3976/ Edited March 24, 2009 by mvsgas To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.
