RvETito Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 The right stuff! The rotorcraft group takes-off for the parade over Moscow. 1 "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. Alfa Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Russian navy videos.. Video showing # 564 "Admiral Tributs"(Pr. 1155/Udaloy I class) of the Russian Pacific Fleet on manouvers: Odd choice of music :D Very nice video showing varies aspects of flight operations onboard the Admiral Kuznetsov - nice footage from hanger deck and elevators. May have been posted before in a shorter version, but at least some of the above mentioned scenes were new to me :) . 1 JJ

Sulman Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Mig-29SMT and Mig-35 cockpits: Thanks for posting these. Most interesting. Very little of the original spec remains; the modernised SU's seem retain more of the standby instrumentation. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
RedTiger Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Yup I agree :) . It was interesting to see them strap the Su-33 down on the elevator before lifting it up to the flight deck. Is this how US/UK/France does it? For some reason I never imagined them doing it this way.
