Got my stuff in, will connect everything to a Leobodnar board. Will that work with the contactless sensors?

Sadly, there is no basis for operation at the moment. I can only ship within the EU, because the german mail service doesnt allow to ship outside the EU for some unknown reason. And then even that isnt working properly as one package to Sweden is stuck "due to Corona"... Absolute abysmal service!

Deutsche Post tells me, but you can ship within Germany no problem. That is too kind, thank you!

Edit: Resolved, world wide shipping is possible again!

I have made ten CH sensors and three CH mainboards today. If anybody is interested send me an email over at mtwsims@tutamail.com :)

As a reminder, this is how they look:

Damn, still no international shipping. Unless you're saying that you can, but it's expensive?

Would it be possible for you to direct us to what parts you used so we can order them ourselves, for those of us that can't order from you?

Posted (edited)

I cant direct you to any parts, because the sensors are completely hand made. The cases are my designs 3D SLS printed from Shapeways and the PCBs are also my designs hand assembled by me. 😉

I can say moving to MTW's CH sensors/mainboards was the best thing i've done for this old gear. Super accurate, no more jitters/bounces, my Pro Throttle and Fighterstick reacts to the slightest pressure. Love it. Only caveat for any still using the CH Control Manager (which has long outlived its design without it going to open source) the mainboard installation will require it's removal once and for all. The sensors will work fine with it, but I had little use for it anyway. I (and MTW AFAIK) found no way for the new boards to communicate with it. I use JoyToKey for any programming I cant do in the sim itself, easy peasy..

Hi r4lay,

Is it possible for you to map the new board to match the old CH throttle buttons ID's?

I have many planes mapped and it would take me forever to re-map them again exactly as they were.

If I had another CH throttle side by side - I could have compared them and re-map them...

Thank you!

I am pretty sure the button IDs are mapped exactly as the original layout. GaryR (from this thread) did the mapping and sent me his config files. I cant really check myself since I only own (converted) gameport CH devices.

Gary? Could you please comment on this? :joystick:

The mapping is done in MMJoy under the "Joystick buttons" tab. The pics are for my Pro Throttle. You simply hit the button and it lights up red, put that number next to the corresponding Button #, done. In your case simply copy my setup or I can send you the file to upload. Is the Fighterstick ok?

If it's mapped like the original CH throttle

(which I'm interseted in upgrading with r4lay. I'm using FF2 as a stick),

then it should be pretty much 'plug n play'?

or the upgraded throttle has to be re-mapped all together again anyway,

since it's identified as a new device in windows and the old mappings won't fit

Sorry if i'm not being very clear...

Thanks for your replies!

EDIT: from looking again at the pictures, seems you mapped it to look exactly like a USB CH throttle pro, with all the buttons?... then it should do the trick... :) cheers!
