boseimmpmsn.com Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 DCS, I was wondering if it is possible for you to explain the Mouse X, Y and Z axis and what it does and what it could possibly do? I hope this is the right forum to ask, if not I apologize in advance. and Thank YOU!
boseimmpmsn.com Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 In laymen terms. I'm not looking for the dimensional explanation
boseimmpmsn.com Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 A few more words, I have the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS setup; flight stick, throttles and pedals, I can bind and unbind to these. I just don't understand the mouse and its binding functions and how I might manipulate, to add or delete using the mouse.
Yurgon Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Referring to the axes sounds like you're looking at the controller bindings. It that correct? The short of it: don't change anything there. It's already set up the proper way. In the Flaming Cliffs series of aircraft, the mouse controls head movement, like Nikola said. In all of the DCS modules, the mouse primarily controls the mouse cursor, which you can use to click buttons inside of the virtual cockpits. There's a secondary function where the mouse movement controls virtual head movement. In case of the A-10C, that can be toggled by pressing LALT + c You don't need to change anything in the mouse setup, and you don't need to assign any of the mouse axes to your other controllers (unless you have some rather special requirements).
boseimmpmsn.com Posted October 5, 2019 Author Posted October 5, 2019 Thank you, I thought I was missing something.
