Understanding Mouse X, Y, Z axis

Recommended Posts

Referring to the axes sounds like you're looking at the controller bindings. It that correct?

The short of it: don't change anything there. It's already set up the proper way.

In the Flaming Cliffs series of aircraft, the mouse controls head movement, like Nikola said.

In all of the DCS modules, the mouse primarily controls the mouse cursor, which you can use to click buttons inside of the virtual cockpits. There's a secondary function where the mouse movement controls virtual head movement. In case of the A-10C, that can be toggled by pressing LALT + c

You don't need to change anything in the mouse setup, and you don't need to assign any of the mouse axes to your other controllers (unless you have some rather special requirements).
