Is there a mod for the runway lights?

Yesterday i start the taxi+start trainingsmission of the F18. I love the lightning. I fly to kutaisi, ask for landing clearance. But the airfield dont put the lights on, make it very hard to see the runway. I hate that. Is there a mod which maybe switch light automatic on when someone call inbound? Landing on a field without lights destroy a lot of immersion. :(

I know what you mean. I find it very hard to spot. I think I read somewhere in the forum that the lighting is set accordingly as in the Caucasus, they were limited to electricity being available as in real life. Not sure if I am confusing myself here ha ha.

Too many modules, and far too less attention

Kutaisi's runway lights, as with the rest of the Caucasus, are turned on during the response to your inbound call. Additionally, any runways that have the light trucks, have those lights turned on during the response to your request for landing. No response, no lights.

The OP's complaint was that the light did not come on. Your complaint is that they are too dim. Two different issues.

Who said there weren't? Personally, I don't have any particular issue with the runway light brightness. I can see them when I need them. It'd be nice if they were brighter but it's not been anything that's kept me from landing. But, again, that is not what I was responding to.

When im 30nm away js switch to the frequence and make the inbound call.

 

I got response about "fly heading X for Z seconds". Later i get the response "clear for visual contact tower".

 

Still no runway lights on that mission.

After the second message, you should contact ATC a 2nd time and then they will light the runway.

Ahhh... Guess I should have asked if this was online. I recall reading that there were issues like this online. In single player, it doesn't happen.
