I didn't! I thought you would get the exact opposite. 😂

No, I know nothing about all this, which is why I'm following this thread because I think you should not get such spikes. I'll test this.

lol, really funny. but what ever helps... thank you and @Mr_sukebe for your help!

now it's getting interesting....

coincidently, yesterday I had to exclude a F-4E file from my antivirus software to be able to run DCS. So I tested with AV off afterwards, and that reduced the spikes, but they were still there (with Foldable view unticked).

Now I just tested your suggestion @Flappie and the spikes are all gone completely when I press that icon (which is selectable in Foldable view).

I know that this icon displays all keybindings. So it should show exactly as many as unticking "Foldable view" does, but the difference is like day and night.

How did you know Flappie? Are there any insights you can give us about the differences between those two methods of showing all keybindings?

That really is weird.

Will be trying that out later today.

Oddly enough, I've alway run the controls menu in the collapsed view since it became available - no issues with stuttering (I use a Meta Quest 3 and run DCS in VR exclusively).

Out of interest, I tried the old controls view (non-collapsed list, box unticked) - and there were definite stutters and hiccups, quite significant ones.

Back to the collapsed menu (box ticked), and even expanded or not, the stutters went away. Weird.

This was fixed for me a long time ago and seems to have returned with the most recent update. It seems to be cause by Axis not being centered while in the controls menu. Using collapsed view doesn't seem to change anything on my end.

So trying to load up DCS again on my new 4k monitor, and the moment I pull down a dropdown menu in settings, DCS just stutters to a slow crawl and I have to reboot my pc to exit. Its things like this that make me not want to fly DCS anymore because theres no way I should be having these issues. Just merely dropping the monitor list causes my stuttering, its unplayable for me. The menu of all things...
