I'm running the Open Beta, and the Beta's for Steam VR and Windows Mixed Reality for steam on my HP Reverb (yesterday I increased my Steam SS level from 100% to 108%...) I use motion reprojection, so I'm locked at 45 FPS pretty much, but in my usual test map (Caucuses Free Flight Mission)in the F18... I can turn on both mirrors and flat shadows without it killing my frame rates...

is anybody else seeing this? or did Santa come early and upgrade my processor when I wasn't looking?

Yes I think also ,that DCS is more VR friendly since Yesterday. On Normandy definitely, but also in Nevada.

Can ED Confirm VR Helpful changes in the last patch? I was hoping for new clouds, but there are still the old ones

I'll go check my system usage in MSI afterburner to see if that has changed significantly

i'm having issue with new open beta update and new nvidia drivers... my framerate is decreased significantly since last time i've played. Obviously in VR, with Rift S and the system in signature... :(

You should go back to an older Nvidia Driver to solve this problem. It's a Oculus problem, as I read in a Simracing forum.

Which ones?

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!

I've been in 2d land for a long while but came back to VR in Beta and I have noticed a much smoother performance. I thought 'I don't remember it being this smooth'...

4.8 I7, 1080, TMW&T, SSD, VKB MK.IV.
