I’m a beginning 3D texture artist and will be using Photoshop w/ Nvidia plugin. I would like to edit the textures of the new amazing A-10C cockpit to give it a nicely weathered look, like Ricardo’s HD “Horse of War” mod. My 1st question is where are the image files I would edit in Photoshop, and are there any good tutorials out there for beginners? Thanks!

Hmm, if the new cockpit is using PBR method and/or BC7 textures not sure if the old Photshop nvidia DDS plugin will work still, perhaps it doesn't matter but IDK, but the new cockpit source PSD texture was probably not released yet and it shouldn't be until the cockpit is finalized in the coming weeks.

I'm sitting on Release version so I'm going to see later whether the texture compression is BC7, unless someone has an idea earlier?

Modules: A-10C I/II, F/A-18C, Mig-21Bis, M-2000C, AJS-37, Spitfire LF Mk. IX, P-47, FC3, SC, CA, WW2AP, CE2. Terrains: NTTR, Normandy, Persian Gulf, Syria

I can’t open the new cockpit files. Either photoshop throws an error or the files are all black (sure, the cockpit is dark, but not that dark).

I’ve had no problem opening .dds until now.

Same here. All black with a splash of purple or pink at times.

$39.95 and you can see the textures.

How do I order this?

EDIT: Works with Photoshop 2019 and the Intel plugin.

Has anyone's tried to withdraw the Intel plugin? It's newer than Nvidia's. I'm using it, but I'm not home right now to check if it works. I'll try to remember to post an update tomorrow.

You Need Photoshop CS6 + CS6 SDK, and the Intel Texture Works Plugin to Import/Export BC7 Compressed DDS files.

Does it have to be CS6, or can I use the latest version of Photoshop?
