jppsx Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 got a direct hit on a s-300 radar and it was still alive , it fell weird that unarmored target like that survive .
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted December 25, 2019 ED Team Posted December 25, 2019 Hi check its life bar in the F10 map it was probably damage but not killed. Units use a life bar Forum rules - DCS Crashing? jppsx Posted December 25, 2019 Author Posted December 25, 2019 will health of radar be downgraded in future or agm88 damage increases ? cause it dont fell realistic to have radar still operational after missile hit
QuiGon Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 IRL the HARM has a fragmentation warhead that doesn't do much damage to vehicles at all, but it perforates the radar itself. Unfortunately DCS has no such detailed dammage modelling for ground vehicles. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Eldur Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 IIRC they can't use their sensors anymore if they're down below a certain value, somewhere in the 60-80% range.

Interesting, I thought their performance is only getting decresead by the same percantage of their dammage value. I didn't know there are some non-linear dammage effects.
