I've run out of all the parts to assemble. Production and assembly will take approximately 3 weeks. 
Cost 240 Euro + 110 delivery to New Zealand.

I would like a collective (head 3) for shipping to the UK, also i will be mounting (somehow) to the right hand side of my chair, as i am left  handed , looking at the bracket i think  I can flip this over, do you think this should be possible. 

and then , just an approx timeline to being ready for payment / shipping ?

I have experience in making model No. 3 in the right-hand version. So yes, it's possible. 
Device 210 EUR + delivery to UK 60 EUR.
Production time is 2-3 weeks. The deadline is approximate with a reserve, I am expecting an order from the production of parts for the base.

Payment after notification that the device is ready for you.

Important message

For those who use my devices on the VPC controller (DIY.ATMEGA.V01) and want to upgrade to a more recent version of the VPC Software Setup Version.

For this to go smoothly, you need to take several steps. 

1. In the version of the program you are using, enable the "PRO" mode.

2. Go to the "PROFILE" tab and edit the "USB Vendor ID" address and change it to 3344.

3. Write the correction to the controller by clicking "SAVE VPC DEVICE"

4. Make a backup copy of your profile by saving it in the folder you need by clicking export profile to file.

5. Now close the VPC program and delete it using the application uninstaller in Windows (I recommend deleting it rather than installing a new one on top). 

6. Install the new version of the program, click "PRO", go to the "FIRMAWERE" tab and install the new controller firmware.

7. After installing the controller firmware, it should reboot several times and automatically go to the “PROFILE” tab. Click Import profile from file, find a copy of your profile, select it and click “Open”. Be sure to check that the USB Vendor ID is registered as 3344. 

It is very important!!!!!

8. Write the profile to the “SAVE VPC DEVICE” controller.

In case you have already tried to update yourself, but it didn’t work out and the device is no longer visible to the VPC program. 

Let's do the following. 

1. Uninstall the new version of the program and install the current version or version 20230328.

2. If Windows no longer sees the device or sees it with an error, reboot the computer with the USB pulled out from the device. 

On the controller board we find two contacts labeled “BOOT”, close these contacts and connect the USB to the computer, having previously launched the VPC program.

3. The VPC program should see a controller called VPC "Bootloader" and will offer to update the controller firmware. Let's do it. 

4. After flashing the controller, install the device profile from the saved folder or download it here.  

5. Follow steps 1-8 described above. 

 

Profiles 2_0617 for Collective with 3 axes. 

                 _K51 for Collective with 2 axes.

This device works independently of others. It does not use the VIRPIL controller. 
I haven't used VIRPIL controllers for over two years now.

The price of the device is 230 EUR. Delivery to the USA is 90 EUR. 
The thing is heavy, 90% iron.

Arduno based device controller. The MMJoy2 program does not require installation and runs in the background if necessary.  
Windows is detected automatically.

The lever axes are made with TLE sensors, non-contact magnetic.

The rotation angle of the levers is 82 degrees. Travel from minimum to maximum 180mm.

I guess what I am getting at is, the k51 3 axis collective I have that uses the mmjo2 software, can this be managed by the virpil software. That is what it sounds like. I did a complete windows reinstall the other day and used the mmjoy2 tutorial you sent me and everything was fine, however if I can use the virpil software that would be cool.

No, unfortunately this is not possible, the VIRPIL program does not see devices with an Arduino-based controller and the MMJoy2 program.

Hello K-51, your wonderful collective arrived today! This will be a short post and I promise to write a full review in the coming days/weeks but, simply put, I'm having way too much fun to stop and write a full review!  

It took seconds to set up, connected perfectly (iMac running X-Plane 12) calibrated and mapped it in a few seconds more. I can't believe how responsive it is. Flawless! Makes my flight skills look way better than they were a day ago - able to perform auto's and quick stops with ease.

hello i have the collective numbers 3 now for 3 years and it is still perfect thanks , recently i made a mess trying to update and i lost the profile ,now i cannot reinstall it properly with the  version 20230328 , the collective works but i have  no buttons working ?? i follow the tutorial on page 38

If for some reason your buttons stop working, first check the parameters highlighted with a red square in the “BUTTONS” tab.

good news everythings seems to be ok now , i reinstall the first profile  = Collect_2_304 and now i have the buttons working and  i have the same thing  that you higlight in red
