already asked two Hornet pilots, they don't see friendly Harrier, friendly C-101 and probably other aircraft aswell on datalink while they do see the other Hornets (F2F I guess)

are they not appearing even as ambiguous contacts? is AWACS also not reporting them?

 

What happens if the f18 interrogates them?

 

 

As far as I am concerned the C101 will remain ambiguous because it has no IFF but the harrier should appear as friendly after interrogation or donor contact.

 

 

why are you submitting bugs on behalf of others when you cannot provide a track or other info?

do you mean "donor contact" from another Hornet or from AWACS?

If you don't own the Hornet how will you make a track? Please have someone experiencing the bug report this.

 

Yes, that's what I hoped for that somebody would post, I asked them now, hope someone will experience this soon and post here.

As far as I know, the AV-8B got Link16 Upgrade in 2016 and the C-101 doesn't have Link16 at all.

 

No wonder one can't see these aircrafts on SA display.

U didn't understand, AWACS transmits detected friendlies to Hornet aswell (at least it's supposed to, afaik)

Are you sure the AWACS actually saw you?

 

Also the other day the viper D/L was all sorts of janky on BF, so it could be some server side thing too.

No point in dragging this out into any piece of that puzzle being disclosed through week-long guesswork. Tell the whole story or don't; ask your buddies to come in and tell their story or don't.
