Anyone have issues with CTDs when sling loading?

For example,

1. I will select the crate to sling

2. fly over to it

3. press the hook button

4. The Rope will go absolutely ballistic, bouncing all over the place

5. Eventually I will CTD

Why would you press the hook button? Hover stable over the load and it hooks automatically.

Do you run the latest and greatest version of DCS? Sounds like a bug from many many patches ago.

Yes sling loading is very wierd. It is buggy some time (i mean loong time ago) there was perfect physics in sling loading, now you can baby sit it and still it will brake as it wants.

I just ran a pair of sling load missions (in oilfield campaign) this past week, and no problems there.

 

But I'm stable, where things still work ;)
