I really recommend to take a look at it! Edit: I just noticed, that you were already talking about the official manual. In order to slave all sensors to SPI ("Slave all to SPI"), use: China Hat Forward Long In order to slave TGP to Steerpoint, use: China Hat Aft Long I've submitted a bug report to get the manual updated.
jimblue74 Posted February 1, 2020 Author Posted February 1, 2020 Now I have a problem. If I long press the button on my X56 hotas, china hat FWD, doesn't work. I explain, even if I press it for a few seconds, it works as if I had pressed it for a moment, thus not being able to use the china hat FWD long function. I tried to change hotas keys, with the same result. Instead, if I press "V" on the keyboard and hold it down, it works regularly. I specify that in the hotas configuration program if I hold the button with that function, graphically I see that the pressure of the button remains until I release. It is also precise that all the other functions in which you have to hold down a key function regularly. Only china hat.

But Chinahat AFT LONG is of course much easier! In Chucks guide on pages 50 and 51 there is also a nice discription of the HOTAS-functions.
jimblue74 Posted February 1, 2020 Author Posted February 1, 2020 The keypress might show that you are holding down the button but what matters is the length of the signal being sent to the game. You can hold a button down forever but if the instruction is not interpreted as FWD LONG, instead just the initial keystroke, you’ll never get the command you want. That said, I have no idea how to fix your problem except to suggest you get a Warthog HOTAS. I understand what you mean. but the thing is strange, because the problem concerns only china hat FWD long press. China HAT AFT long press works regularly, like all the other commands I have to hold down, like coolie hat long press for soi, tms, dms .....
Frederf Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Try setting a different joystick switch, e.g. speed brake to china hat forward temporarily just to check. If you can get another joystick button to do the long press but not the normal one then that indicates there is something physically wrong with the china hat switch on your controller and it should be repaired or replaced.
