Batman7617 Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Hi guys, Apologies if this has been asked previous, I have searched through various threads and topics to find an answer however I can't seem to find one. Does anyone know (roughly) when the Viper will be released onto the stable version if it isn't already? We have a D-Box platform that only works with the stable version of DCS and don't want to purchase the Viper if we can't really use it. Thanks in advance.
QuiGon Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 It's already available on the stable branch. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Batman7617 Posted February 6, 2020 Author Posted February 6, 2020 Many thanks for the update QuiGon, thats great news, I can feel an download coming!
mehksauce Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 just curious, why do you use stable version? from my time in dcs, theres no difference with the stable version, because you still get the bugs from the open beta version lol

D-Box is a motion seat system btw (which my local movie theater uses as well :D) Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
linzamin Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 F-16 under Stable Version DCS The Product/BUY page says it only runs in "Open Beta" mode. Is the page incorrect?
Tom Kazansky Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 (edited) The Product/BUY page says it only runs in "Open Beta" mode. Is the page incorrect? I see only the German version of the shop atm and there, OB is not mentioned at all for the Viper. edit: same with English shop site. Maybe they corrected it I am using the Viper with the stable DCSW for weeks now btw Edited February 24, 2020 by Tom Kazansky
sobek Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 The Product/BUY page says it only runs in "Open Beta" mode. Is the page incorrect? The product itself is in Early Access, but it is available over Beta and Stable Branches. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
