hey guys, I did a search of this forum (only), and got no hits about support for a wide screen lcd monitor. So I'm asking if BS will support wide screen format (16:9). Just want to know.

thanks,

@ Flyby: Thanks for asking, I'm a wide-screener as well (24" dell monitor + 40" HDTV both @ 1920x1200 for LOFC ;))

@ Wags: Thanks for replying, thanks for the start-up vid, looking fwd to the next one.

Yes, and selection of aspect is selected from the GUI.

Yes, and selection of aspect is selected from the GUI.

this is dam good news for wide screen or th2go users.

if its in the GUI then it should definately not be a problem remembering the aspect ratio you set, yippee. set and forget...

Wags:

while on the topic of aspect ratio etc.

can you expand a little on the issue of old with the overdraw when zoomed out, hope you know what i mean.

basically i think it was still rendering the unseen area & killing performance?

this was something i am really hoping is sorted,

please advise for the th2go users, thanks.

thanks Wags,

Thanks Wags! Now I'll be buying a widescreen lcd as part of my new system when the time comes.

Looks as if others had the same thought as I did in asking. Great minds think alike!:megalol:

lots of asking going on, its hard to resist when the desire to know is strong.

trying not to overwhelm these guys as they have been very generous lately with information,

and also being around and available thru the forums,

i am quite sure this is greatly appreciated by the community.

please keep it up .

I wonder if they are going to crop the top and bottom of a 4:3 image--or if we're going to get actually more displayed on the left and right? Not really that important to me--just curious! :music_whistling:
