Its not that long. A while ago there was a break lasting several months...

Why are you so quiet about updates?

Because everyone on the team is very busy trying to finish the product. Really, there is not a dedicated marketing person, so somebody on the team would have to stop what they're doing to put together an update, which, if it includes anything more than screenshots, like a technical write up or a video, would take a least a few hours. I'm sure we will have either screenshots or a video available soon. If I don't hear of any upcoming updates by the end of the week, I will personally make time for something next week.

i think we will be greeted with a 'producers note #2' soon enough thanks to wags, but whats the hurry, plenty of good flying to be done until then.

 

i as much as anyone would like to see new screens and vids every 5 minutes but this is unrealistic, as we have seen in the past it comes in dribs and drabs and when we do eventually see something its usually pretty dam good.

 

so have patience and keep checking in every now and then, i have been for the last couple of years.:lol:

 

there is quite a bit of video footage etc from the recent sim expo's so have a hunt around for that stuff to satisfy your need for a fix.

you know those foreigners.. in those countries around Europe, they take these long breaks called 'Holiday' where the whole country shuts down for 6 weeks each 4 months...

 

that's why we get so confused over here why we hardly hear news on new updates on anything being made and produced..

Why don't you make one of the teta-testers responsible for website community PR? You don't need to have a full-time paid person to do that :)

Harder than you think - that person would have to speak both languages well enough to communicate with both sides and have the technical skills to maintain and update the website. Besides, we've already picked one anyway - me. :) I don't code html, so I've kept mostly to talking on the forum so far. Chizh and Wags have been handling most of the screenshots, videos and write-ups, but I may dip into this a little bit now that we're getting to "crunch time."

Ya, an update does take time. So what :cry:. Let them take a little time and do some updates. It's well worth the time. It keeps us that follow BS informed, and creates new interest. That's worth it. How long can an update delay things. A day, a couple hours. I think updates are well worth the time.

Despite of my reputation even I wouldn't come up with an idea to make beta tester "responsible" for community PR. What I found amusing was just a word-play combined with my reputation. That's it.

many threads are filled with grammatical errors,

some are surely mine and by no means a scholar am i :smartass:,

you find misspelled words, or sentences with little or no logical meaning, misunderstandings or incorrect interpretations through tone or mood, sense of humor or dryness level, our geographical displacement and local culture, so many things.

the obvious language barrier is a major offender but somehow overcome by talented folks who speak and type in more than one tongue.
