Nodak Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Now that we have the night light right.... Be kind of handy to make a radio call and have a C-130 overhead kick a huge one out. Or ground units shoot one up to mark an LZ. Door gunners chunking them out as required.
Emmy Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 A-10C can drop them. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.476vfightergroup.com/content.php High Quality Aviation Photography For Personal Enjoyment And Editorial Use. www.crosswindimages.com
QuiGon Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Not just the A-10C, but also other aircraft like the Viggen and I think the Su-25 can drop them as well. As a mission maker you can also use triggers to spawn the flares anywhere you want at any time. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
razo+r Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Huey, Hip, Ka-50, Su-25A and T, A-10A and C, F-5 I think too, Viggen and for sure some others too.
Gierasimov Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Triggers do nicely as well - with either signal flare or illumination bomb Intel Ultra 9 285K :: ROG STRIX Z890-A GAMING WIFI :: Kingston Fury 64GB :: MSI RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio :: VKB Gunfighter MK.III MCG Ultimate :: VPC MongoosT-50 CM3 :: non-VR :: single player :: open beta
Blackjack_UK Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Does this mean that they now work properly? They didn't before... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Emmy Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Last time I checked (one update back .. not the absolute latest) they worked from the A-10C and they worked very well.
