Murey2 Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 (edited) Hi, I wish for all Control wheels in the cockpit to have Axis Control for it, like: -All brightness wheels for lighting in cockpit light Control: +HUD Brightness. +Night Lighting For Cockpit Brightness. +Cockpit's Panels Lighting Brightness. +PVI-800 Lighting. +HSI AND ADI Brightness. +AMMS ABRIS Brightness. -Brightness wheels for the Shkval and NVG. -AMMS ABRIS Control wheel. -Radio volume: +ADF +R-800 +R828 And so on. This will make controlling the above stuff really handy and easy and more convenient. And I think that should have existed long time ago. So, Anything that is a wheel or has wheel movement should be in Axis control... If you're saying "Well we don't have that huge amount of wheels to control all what you mentioned above!" Well you can use one wheel to control all mention above just by the modifiers: So if you have one wheel moving it alone will do something but same only wheel with ctrl will do another thing... And so on... (Edit):So even if you have 1 wheel on your HOTAS and a keyboard that have the modifiers keys like Control and Shift and Alt right and left you can have more than 36 configurations (more than needed in fact). Please ED I know this need work but save us the headache and allow all wheels to have settings in Axis Controls... Edited March 19, 2020 by Murey2 2
Mr_sukebe Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 +1 for the above. Just been out in the KA50 and was surprised to see how few axes there are available. 2 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
Dragon1-1 Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Unfortunately, it was made before simpits were a serious consideration. The A-10 has the same problem, not enough 3-pos switches and axes for knobs. Some people do, in fact, have that many wheels which could be used for those things. 1
Beirut Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Maybe BS3 will improve things. Now gimme my BS3! ..........please. 1 Some of the planes, but all of the maps!
agamemnon_b5 Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 The Black Shark is essentially a DCS module stuck in the Lock-On days in terms of control mapping. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Mr_sukebe Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Well, that’s what wish lists are for… 1 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
okopanja Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 It would be nice to know the roadmap for BS3 in the same way Wags is doing this for F-16... 1
cow_art Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 (edited) +1 I just got a TotalControls Button Box and was quite surprised to find I can't use my shiny new axes in the Shark. Please ED. This would be a great quality of life improvement for the BS 3! Edited November 4, 2022 by cow_art
Falconeer Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Bump... plz ED, can you take a look into the request made in the first post? Some more axis bindings are very helpful for the Blackshark, as some key bindings are hard to make fine adjustments with, like Shkval brightness and contrast Planes: Choppers: Maps: Flaming Cliffs 3 Black Shark 2 Syria A-10C Tank killer 2 Black Shark 3 Persian Gulf F/A18C Hornet AH-64 Apache Mariana's F-16C Viper Afghanistan F-15E Strike Eagle Kola Peninsula Mirage 2000C AJS-37 Viggen JF-17 Thunder F-14 Tomcat F-4E Phantom
