Good vid - interesting how the A-10 and Harrier kick the crap out of FPS compared to the others.

Let's see if you still say that when A-10C2 comes out.

Sometimes :) difference was 66% of the performance, thanks for sharing the video.

i assume Memory frequency is also a lot different? CPU performance differences are actually not that much (according to Spechts) , but the whole platform has changed.

very interesting video. cpu's in all cases are not utilized properly. but 9700k makes big differences in all scenarios. and with 3770k, 1080 is also not fully utilized

I was actually pretty surprised that the Ivy bridge cpu held up so well except for a couple of scenarios. Trying to say; the low end is definetly better with a modern high end system, but even then in some situations DCS will make you ask....hell, why did i spent so much money on my rig?

good Morning

When I see that, I feel empowered to leave my substructure untouched. Then you'd better just invest in a new GPU.

It is disappointing that the 9700k doesn't make any difference when you consider that the 3770k has already been through a few days.

Such a comparison should ideally also exist for Ryzen CPUs.

Such a comparison video would be best for

3770K vs 7700K vs 9900K vs 3900X for example.

If you feel like contributing something, please bring it with you.

So it would be better for GPU upgrade then. Do you guys think its good time to upgrade now or wait little bit longer till whatever AMD or NVIDIA new gen GPU release?

In my opinion it is a question of what you want.

Do you use VR or triple monitor?

Which VR glasses?

My GTX1070 @ approx. 2030 + MHz / 4650MHz VRam can handle my settings quite well with 4k. I have not tried VR.

Since I was thinking that I would like VR and then with a Pimax because of the superior field of view, I need as much power as possible.

Do not feel like buying an RTX2080TI for 1200 euros now so that I have to play with medium settings.

Then prefer an RTX3070 for 600 euros;) Or if it brings something an RTX3080 (TI) with higher settings.

It is a big problem that there is no real hardware comparison.

CPUs from to and GPUs from to.

Which graphics card are you currently using?

Hi thanks for the reply. Currently I'm using i5 4690k @4.3 and GTX 1070 also I'm using 2 monitors @1080 and planned my third (still waiting for delivery).

Tbh I get mostly between 30 - 50 on busy server (I play on MP only) and feel quite comfortable with it. I'm not quite sure why I wanna upgrade.... probably greedy thing lol.

Sorry, but i think you need both, or both would help you further.

with the third screen, the GPU is probably in greater need

I need for me, around 50-60Fps to be happy, without VR

In VR, of course 80Fps.
