In the recent secreenshots, super carrier lights can illuminate the planes.

But on the airfields, planes remain dark.

Will ED improve apron lights cast also?

The lights at the airfields are currently not illuminating aircraft. We will see this in the future but not possible currently.

thanks

why impossible? it seems you have this tech already. does the object have to float in the sea?

It is a performance issue currently, with so many light sources at airfields it is a big task.

That should change in the future.

thanks

I guess that's also the reason the lights pop up so late when closing in. I've landed at Batumi in the dark a while ago (in 256 already), but I couldn't see the flood lights on the apron until I was off the short taxi strip that leads to it - and then in F2 my plane stayed dark (what this thread is about initially)... at least now the runway lights won't show up that late anymore which is a MASSIVE improvement.

Hope you guys get this sorted eventually, the sooner the better of course icon_redface.gif

I'd settle for a command to switch on/off airbase lighting in general to begin with...
